This early version of the flag of the United States of America was believed to have been carried by William Batchelor of the 3rd Maryland Regiment at the Battle of Cowpens on January 17, 1781. The star pattern has come to be known as “the 3rd Maryland design.”


    Flags are printed and hemmed in Cincinnati, OH out of 200 denier Nylon finished with strong canvass band, 2 brass grommets, and 4 rows of stitching on the fly end.
